A literary evening in honor of Stefan Mitrov Ljubiša will be organized tonight in Belgrade, in the Small Hall of Kolarč National University, at 18 p.m.
"The association of Paštrović and friends of Paštrović in Belgrade 'Fine sand', in cooperation with Kolarč University, organizes a literary evening in honor of the famous Paštrović and Budva native Stefan Mitrov Ljubiša. The literary work of Stefan Mitrov Ljubiša was composed on the artistic representation of people and events in the Mediterranean and wider environment, which is why it was also called 'Njegoš in prose,'" said the organizers of this event.
On this occasion, the presentation of two new editions will be held. One of them is the monograph "Cultural History of Paštrović" authored by prof. Nikola Samardžića, PhD, Mile Medigović Stefanović, PhD, Zlate Marjanović, PhD, and PhD student Dušana Medina.
This monograph was published by the publishing house HeraEdu from Belgrade, as part of the "Garden" edition, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia.
"Kazalice Stefan Mitrov Ljubiša" by academician Radomir V. Ivanović, edited by Niko Martinović and published by the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts, will also be presented. This book contains several texts about the "famous Paštrović", and was published on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of his death.
Visitors to this literary evening will also have the opportunity to hear lectures by Academician Radomir V. Ivanović, Dr. Mile Medigović Stefanović, Zorica Stablović Bulajić and Dušan Medina.
Selected excerpts from the two mentioned works will be narrated by drama artist Jovana Todorović.
