Milena will continue to live through the monograph

Kljuch snova - a monograph about the diva of Yugoslav cinema, Milena Dravić, authored by Anita Panić, was presented in Bijelo Polje. The author presented the life and career of the actress analytically, with many interesting details and photos, through seven chapters on 364 pages.

"It's a bit strange when it comes to Milena Dravić and her rich biography. I had the honor that the Film Center of Serbia, which is also my publisher, trusted me and accepted the proposal to do a monograph on Milena Dravić. I was overjoyed to have the opportunity to somehow associate with the giant of the Serbian theater, working for more than a year on this book," said the author, adding that Milena's career is actually a retrospective of Yugoslav cinema. "It is not easy to write about an actress who is not easy to write about an actress who participated in over 100 cinema and television films, theater plays, series, TV programs," said Panić.

She recalled that in the old Yugoslavia, Milena was called in the nicest possible way - Milena nacionale.

"That's why I gave myself the obligation to make it a serious book, which Milena deserves, to make it a book that I will not be ashamed of, and which will formulate her rich career in the right way", said Panić, stressing that Milena will continue to lives through this monograph. The monograph is a sumptuous Serbian-English edition with the most important chapters of stage and film impressions.

"The last chapter is a complete list of Milena's rich film, television and theater biography," Panić pointed out and added that through the book we can get to know a person who, although shy by nature, loved people a lot.

The promotion of the monograph "Milena Dravić or the key of dreams" was organized by the National Library and the Center for Culture in Bjelopolje.
