As part of the 32nd Bar Annals, an exhibition of works by participants of the II festival School of Graphics was opened in the Church of Saint Veneranda in the Old Town, which was led by academic artist Nataša Drešić for the previous 14 days.
A total of 23 participants aged from 7 to 67 exhibited 44 works in intaglio linocut, and the exhibition was opened by Drešić and in front of the organizer Vesna Vujošević Labović.
Last night, the literary program of the Annals in King Nikola's Castle continued with the promotion of the poetry collection "I like other social diagnoses" by the Montenegrin poet Katarina Sarić.
In a conversation with moderator Marija Krivokapić, Sarić talked about her prose, which she also narrated.
Sarić writes socially engaged poetry, prose and essays intended for performing arts, and so far she has performed at the Trg pjesnika Grad-Teatra, the Bar Chronicle, the Sarajevo Winter "Noise and Fury", the Zagreb Gornji-grad festival, and the "Orpheus on the Danube" festivals. Domus "Viminacium".
Her texts are featured on all important portals in the region.
Sarić graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić, first in mother tongue and South Slavic literature, and then in philosophy, and in Podgorica, she received a master's degree in social policy and social work from the Faculty of Political Sciences.
So far, she has published the novels "On the other side of light", "Nadaja slow down, you will step on a bird", which was also the second place in the competition of the Athens publishing house "Monoceros books" for the Balkan area in 2014, and "Amputated", as well as a travelogue. She also published the philosophical-fragmentary trilogy "Caligat in Sole", a collection of stories called "Acute Women's Week" and poetry collections "Miss Theatrical" and "I'm sick of other social diagnoses".
He publishes a selection of political-erotic poetry in a special publishing house for avant-garde and eccentric works of world artists "Black Scat Books" in California.
A selection from social poetry was included in the 2019 "Artifact Nouveau" edition as reading material for seminars and courses at Delta College in California.
