Last year, the Nikšić Guitar Fest launched a new segment of the festival - a music-poetry evening, which they organized in cooperation with the "Zahumlje" JU and the "Poetna Poetika" Literary Club.
It was the same this year. While last year's event was dedicated to one of the most famous Nikšić and Montenegrin poets, Vitomir Vito Nikolić, this year's event, in accordance with the theme of the festival, was dedicated to the most important Spanish poet of the 20th century, Federico García Lorca.
This year, the students of the "Dara Čokorilo" Music School also came to their aid.
This year's edition of Guitar Fest, the 14th in a row, is dedicated to Spain, its music, culture, and history, and Lorca, as they say, brought it all together at a musical and poetic evening. Through poetry, literary reviews, music and dance, the participants of the program managed to evoke the life and creativity of a man who found motives for his singing in his "homeland", combined folk and modern, and whose works are considered a Spanish national treasure.
Milena Krivokapić, Miloš Zvicer, Teodora Ilić, Ivana Kovač, Kristina Perković, Katarina Dadić, Sonja Milatović, Anđela Peković and Goran Radojičić, president of "Poente Poetika", who was also the moderator of the evening, performed in the program.
"Lorka is a phenomenon that even today, decades after his death, manages to intrigue the world," said Radojicic. And that this same world, with lyrics, delights and intoxicates every time.
The guitar fest ended last night with the performance of guitar students from Paris, Strasbourg, Sarajevo and Cetinje.
