The novel "Persson" by the young author Nikola Lekić will be presented today in Podgorica, in the "Radosav Ljumović" National Library, at 19 p.m., and literary critic Vlatko Simunović will talk with him.

The novel, published by Laguna from Belgrade, follows a young self-proclaimed poet with no income and no roof over his head, Nikola Nikolajević, whose sister finds him an apartment in another city.

"Subtly narrating the struggle for physical freedom and freedom of the spirit, creating the cinematic atmosphere of Polanski and Hitchcock, 'Persson' grows into an exciting contemporary story about loneliness, inner fractures and love," the book description reads.

Lekić was born in 1989 in Belgrade. He studied History of Art at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. He printed his first novel "Žbun" on a photocopier in 2014 in 50 copies. As a samizdat, in 2016 he published the novel in stories "Trafika", and in 2018 he again printed "Persson" with a photocopier in 50 copies, which were sold out in a few days after the first presentation of the book.
