"I have had the promotion of the collection in Sarajevo in mind since the publication of the book, but while I was waiting for the right moment to realize it, the moment chose me. I received an invitation from respected Bosnian actor and director of Chamber Theater 55, Emir Hadžihafizbegović. Bearing in mind the good reputation of that avant-garde theater, which is based on a decades-long tradition of good plays and other projects realized there, as well as the reputation that Hadžihafizbegović enjoys thanks to his thorough approach to work and a career that speaks for itself, I knew that it was the best possible opportunity for my original idea of presenting my work in Sarajevo to come true,'' said Kašić.

He believes that it is an extraordinary honor to have the opportunity to present his creativity within the aforementioned festival, but also that it is a great responsibility.

"The Days of Jurislav Korenić Festival is a tribute to one of the most outstanding theater directors in the area of our former homeland, Yugoslavia, who is also the founder of Chamber Theater 55. To appear as part of an event dedicated to such a name and in the place from which the noble idea of nurturing culture as the essence of society is a great honor and privilege, but also a responsibility, because you have to justify your competence to appear at such an event. Nevertheless, I believe that everything will turn out in the best order, because simply, it cannot be otherwise when we do what we love and we give ourselves one hundred percent to it, just as I give myself to the lyrics, the audience and the stage,'' Kašić points out.

"The most important and most beautiful element of each of my performances is the emotional connection that I try to achieve with the audience. I wish and expect a good vibe for the audience, because I love when I feel that they are really present, that the poetry flows through their being, and that they fundamentally feel my every word, whether it makes them laugh or hurts. There is no money that can buy the value of those, for me, cathartic moments when I feel that my mission has been fulfilled,'' Lejla concluded.

Lejla Kašić, born in 1996, is a Montenegrin poet who completed her basic studies at the Faculty of Philology in Nikšić, and also studied at the Charles-France University in Graz, Austria. Now he is in specialist studies at the University of Donja Gorica in Podgorica. He has numerous promotions of his collections and poetry evenings behind him. She published her works on various portals and online magazines, of which she singles out the collaboration for the online art & literary magazine insp.
