"You don't have to live in Nikšić for Nikšić to live in you. It is enough to carry Šobić's verses in one pocket and you are ours", are the words of the young poet from Nikšić, Sonja Milatović, who "decorated her "magician and hero", as she called Miladin Šobić, "with an order of verse".
It was with the program that was dedicated to the singer-songwriter who became a legend during his lifetime, and which was prepared by the members of the Literary Club "Poenta Poetika" at JU "Zahumlje" and the students of the high school "Stojan Cerović", that started the "Bohemian Fest", a two-day event that took place in in the town under Trebjes is organized for the third year in a row.
According to Goran Radojičić, the president of "Poenta Poetika", Nikšić in the former Yugoslavia was recognized for bohemia, poetry, good music and Šobić, that is why it is the duty of all generations to preserve this recognition from oblivion, and this is precisely the intention of the "Bohemian Fest" ” which is organized under the slogan "Nikšić remembers its legends".
"Šobić's work is as alive today as it was in the eighties. It has become a classic. Evergreen. His character and work have a place at Bohemian Fest, and the fact that he is still with us is just an additional motive. His poetry and music are bohemian, they sing about life, ordinary, peaceful, but also rebellious and bar-like," said Radojicic, and the participants of the program showed that "Ajša" sounds just as melodious, and "I was November" just as "caressing" even when are also recited when sung to the guitar.
Two previous evenings, as Radojičić said, art lovers had the opportunity to, while everything around them "smelled of the warmth of the Nikšić winter, poetry and music", with beer, mulled wine or brandy, "breathe in" bohemia. A rich cultural, artistic and musical program was organized in "Zahumlje", hotel "Onogošt" and Blues brothers bar, Floyd, Jerry pub, Bordo, Room 56 and Macaka. The people of Nikšić had the opportunity to enjoy the tambura players, the performances of numerous musicians, the cabaret program, look at the exhibition of photos of Nikšić musicians, but also to learn more about Nikšić's legends from the billboards that were placed in the city center.
The organizers of "Bohemian Fest", which takes place on December 13 and 14, are the Municipality of Nikšić, the local Tourist Organization, JU "Zahumlje", Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (IPC) Technopolis and the tourism cluster "Montenegro".
