They announce the album with the single "Navečer se srca lome".

The Croatian band "Silente" will present a new single "At night, hearts break" today. Although yesterday the premiere of the single was on the radio, today the video for the said track will be presented.

"This is the first single in a series announcing our fourth studio album. We plan to have all the tracks that will be on it ready by the end of the summer, but we don't plan to put it on the air right away. The complete album will be released only next year, and until then we will release one single at a time", reveals Tibor Karamehmedović, the frontman of the band Silente, who is also responsible for the creation of this track, at the beginning of the conversation.

Although in recent days, Croatian musicians, as well as musicians from the region, have been presenting songs that they will perform at the revue CMC festival, Tibor and his team still decided not to go to similar events with this track.

"Once we were at that festival and honestly, that's not it for me. Somehow, it's nicer for me when I have two hours to socialize with the audience, so we avoid festivals and try to only do concerts," says Karamehmedović.

The band members have spent the last six months preparing and recording new material, and with this single Silente opens the next chapter of their work. For the purposes of live recording, the band covered the hall of the Revelin club in Dubrovnik and, under the direction of Filip Vidović, recorded a song written by Sanin Karamehmedović, and composed and arranged by Tibor Karamehmedović. The mixing and mastering was done by Domagoj Perišić, and the video was directed by Miran Brautović from Palm Produkcija. The cards for the video were recorded in Varaždin on the eve of the comeback tour and the big Silente concert at Špancirfest in 2019.

Each new album of "Silentea" will be different from the previous one, and this will be the guide when they work on new tracks.

"We always do the work in a mining way, because we ourselves want to always offer something different and new to the audience. It will be the same this time. Neime, our first album was pop, the second in a rock style, and the third drew on a garage sound. However, this time they are somehow more in that classic style of the 70s and 80s when there was a wave of singer-songwriters in the ex-Yu area. This album will be in that phase, it will have a new violinist, so we have a full lineup and it will be a very interesting sound", promises the interlocutor of Vijesti.

All the songs, as he says for the album of the parent band Silente, as well as others for his solo career, which he has been successfully building for some time, were created before the corona virus pandemic.

"In that period from last November to March of this year, I wrote quite a lot of songs, and more than I should, so I used the period of self-isolation to get more physically involved. Namely, I changed the roof, windows, whitewashed, planted around the house because the atmosphere that prevailed during those months was very dark, people were afraid, so I was absolutely not inspired by the situation", admits Karamehmedović.

There will be 10 songs on the project, and he is not yet sure if all the ones he intended for the album will be on the same one.

Although they can't wait to return to the concert podiums, due to the current situation, they don't believe it will be soon.

"For now, they mostly schedule and cancel concerts for us. There is more enthusiasm than the real situation allows for. As things have started, it seems that by the end of the year we cannot hope for any big performances and tours", says Karamehmedović.
