The Montenegrin Cinematheque will pay tribute to Ranko Radović, a prominent Montenegrin architect, professor and former Minister of Urban Planning and Ecology in the Government of Montenegro, today at 20.30:39 p.m., in Podgorica, in the courtyard of the multifunctional space Atrio Concept House, Miljana Vukova XNUMX.
Radović was born on August 18, 1935 in Podgorica. He graduated in architectural studies in Belgrade, where he also obtained his master's degree in 1971 with prof. Oliver Minić, and he received his doctorate at the Paris Sorbonne in 1980 under prof. Bernard Dorival, on the topic "Continuity of ideas and forms in contemporary architecture". He spent his entire working life as a university professor of architecture and urbanism in the country and abroad.
As a graphic artist, draftsman and painter, he had 26 solo exhibitions, the most important of which were in Belgrade, Lisbon, Helsinki, Palermo, Budapest, The Hague and Paris.
He won the award of the October Salon for graphics in 1987. He was a member of many professional organizations in the country and abroad and the winner of valuable awards for his creativity.
The Cinematheque organizes this program in cooperation with the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and the Ministry of Culture.
The number of places is limited, with respect and application of all prescribed epidemiological measures for outdoor programs.
