The students of the Faculty of Fine Arts have decided to jump into the current situation, so with the help of the "Meister Piece concept - Save The Night Vol.2" project, organized by G3 Spirits and Jagermeister, they will present their works through an online exhibition tonight. Jasmina Šuntić, Azra Mehović, Valentina Dronjak, Milva Milić, Nikola Jovićević and Aleksandar Bugarin will exhibit not only the works on the theme "Save The Night", but also the drawings they made during the two years of study, which fit into this task they were given .

During the online exhibition, a total of about 20 works will be presented, and the audience will be able to see the creation process of some of them. When the measures make functioning difficult, this is the best way for these young people to present their work to the general public, and the complete material will be shown from 20:XNUMX on the social networks Facebook and Instagram.

"We managed to respond to the given topic in a creative way, but we also got the opportunity to present our older works and in that way the audience gets to know us as young artists. At this exhibition, in addition to the given theme, I will have four or five more paintings, one of which I won a state award for last year. I decided to present myself with paintings on canvas so that the audience would get to know my style, regardless of the fact that I am majoring in graphic design," said one of the participants, Jasmina Šuntić, in an interview with Vijesti.

Regardless of the fact that she majored in graphic design, she says that painting is also close to her, because all works begin with a drawing.

"In fact, before we start creating in the server, we have to make a sketch manually. Although, even before I enrolled in graphic design, I liked to paint, so dealing with the canvas was not difficult for me, I like to control the colors on it", points out Šuntić, who believes that due to technology today, painting is neglected in relation to graphic design.

"Painting on canvas takes much longer and you have to have the whole idea before you start painting. I believe that this art is more appreciated precisely because of the advancement of technology, that's why I chose to present myself to the audience in this way," explains Šuntić.

She reveals that some of her colleagues will present their works from the graphic design department, and there will also be a sculpture.

"We all tried our best to respond to the given topic through artistic imagination, so in addition to graphics and paintings on the canvas, there will also be photographs", Šuntić reveals what the audience will be able to see during the virtual exhibition.

During the pandemic, students' access to the faculty was also limited, so they found an opportunity for creative expression in isolation. However, the interviewee of Vijesti believes that the pandemic did not affect their creativity.

“Talent will always surface, so inspiration never suffers for anything. Maybe during the pandemic we didn't have the technical means, but thanks to our participation in this project we got them, so we had the complete material we need to realize this idea to the end", says Šuntić, for whom this will not be her first exhibition.

"I had my first exhibition in the fourth grade of high school, and that's when I presented my paintings. I wanted to use them to encourage some people to fall in love with, and perhaps enroll in, painting. As for collective exhibitions, at the end of each school year, exhibitions of our works that we made during that school year are organized, however, due to the pandemic, it was not made this time, so we are waiting for the conditions to be met, in order to present those works to the audience", he points out.
