The exhibition of graphics "Montenegro" by Zuvdija Hodžić will be opened tomorrow at the Tivat Museum and Gallery, starting at 18 p.m.
Zuvdija Hodžić, journalist, writer, publicist and fine artist from Gusinje, is a member of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts and has the status of Outstanding Creator in Culture.
He published a book of poetry "On the first lodging", books of short stories "Deaf bells" and "Someone is calling", novels "Gusinjska godina", "Davidova zvezda" and "Svi moji", a book of travelogues and reports "Jedan dan života" and a book of essays of the lyrics "That's it".
His novels and books of short stories were published in Albanian, and "Star of David" in Polish, Slovenian and Italian.
He is the winner of the Thirteenth of July Award, the Titograd Liberation Award, the "Pero Ćamilo Sijarić" and "Stefan Mitrov Ljubiša" awards.
It is represented in reading materials for primary and secondary schools and literature studies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. He had several solo exhibitions of drawings and graphics. He published monographs of drawings and writings "Podgorica Starom" and "Discovering the Homeland".
The exhibition of Hodžić's latest graphics with motifs from Montenegro will be opened in Tivat by professor of literature Neven Staničić, director of the Tivat Center for Culture.
