Ivan M. Grdinić from Kolašin organized the first exhibition in his hometown, called "From my angle". In the gallery space of the Cultural Center, the audience could see his 27 macrophotographs, in which, according to art historian Draginja Kujović, "unrepeatable reality was captured".

She recalled that the inspirational starting point for the young photographer was the Danijelo Vincek Botanical Garden in Dulovine, where Grdnić worked for many years.

"Creating photographs of White Work, Mother's Day, Dandelion in Flames, Dove, Fog..., the author achieved a combination of the visual arts of film and painting. Ivan patiently waited to capture a certain motif, striving to convey the feeling of atmosphere, air and the structure of the motif. . The detail of the selected motif, he shoots in macro technique. I wait for hours and days for the lens to "catch" what he is looking for, which is that moment of unrepeatable reality. That is how he creates the unity of photography and artistic painting," said Kujović.

According to the director of the Culture Center Gorica Ilinčić, Grdinić, "with the instinct of an artist, felt a moment more valuable than others and had the vision to record it".

"The emphasis of this special photo, macro photography, is not on technical perception, but on the very moment when a drop of water, dew or rain, turns into splendor and richness of colors. Ivan allows us to reach the world hidden from us and to see it from others eyes, finding a primordial connection with nature", said Ilinčić about her fellow citizen's photos.

She reminded that Grdinić "inherited his love for photography from his father Milija, who decades ago had photographic equipment and a laboratory for making black and white photographs".

The macro photography exhibition "From my angle" was officially opened by Relja Eraković, professor of photography, film and TV cameras.

"I immediately noticed one specific thing about Ivan, compared to us other landscapers, which is macro photography or photographing details.... Ivan leads us into his companionship with nature in a different and, in my opinion, more difficult way, through details. "allows us to experience his photographs in an individual way and imagine what else can be hidden behind, each in his own way. This gives his works additional originality and imagination," said Eraković.
