With the opening of the "Comeback" exhibition, based on a selection from contemporary Montenegrin art, on July 13, in the church of Santa Maria in Punta, the art program of the XXXV "Grad Teatar" festival began.

The exhibition was opened by the director of JU Grad Theater, Milena Lubarda Marojević who said that the works of 17 artists are exhibited and that the author of the exhibition is a painter, whose work is also exhibited - Đorđije Bato Boljević.

"His wish was that we should not waste unnecessary words on the description of the exhibition, that it should not be talked about, but that the works and its concept should speak for themselves. We will respect that", said Lubarda Marojević and invited visitors to make their own assessment of the exhibition and to enjoy the works.

Artist Bojana Popović, whose work is entitled "2 points of Fraction", pointed out that the setting is unusual and quite diverse.

"Each artist managed to get his own space and connect it logically. I am satisfied with the opening, the atmosphere and the space itself, so I was really pleased that I was able to contribute a small part to this exhibition", said Popović.

The work of the artist Vasa Nikčevića from the cycle "Symbol in Abstraction", is also part of this exhibition, and Nikčević shares the opinion that the exhibition is diverse and interesting.

"The space is ungrateful for some conceptual variant, and it was very difficult to make an exhibition considering that the works are so diverse. However, this looks really good and also represents a range from the youngest to the elderly. I like her, she is very convincing", he pointed out.

Sandra Đurbuzović, whose work is entitled Montenegrin - "Angel of Love", is grateful to the author that her work is part of this exhibition.

"Our esteemed painter and academic graphic artist Đorđije Bato Boljević embraced us wonderfully with his exhibition, and I really thank him for that. A wonderful choice of authors, but also a fantastic setting. The specificity of the ambiance of the beautiful area of the Basilica of Santa Maria really obliges, but Bato has done it brilliantly", said Đurbuzović.

Young artist from Budva Diana Lazović emphasized that it means a lot to her to be a part of this exhibition and Grad Teatar festival.

"The works are great, I am happy to be part of this setting and to be together with my colleagues and friends," she added.

The exhibition features the works of the following artists: winners of the Thirteenth of July Award for this year, Tom Pavićević (There is no one to write to the colonel), Filip Janković (Still Life), Siniša Radulović (Fly Me to the Moon), Sanja Raonic (For Better or for Worse), Vidak Radmilović (St. Mantis), Vasa Nikčević (from the cycle "Symbol in Abstraction"), Sretena Nikčevića (Untitled), Sandra Đurbuzović (Montenegro - Angel of Love), Ivanka Vana Prelevic (from the cycle "Under the surface"), Ex-artist (Eye of the blackbird I), Marice Kuznetsov Boljević (from the cycle "Under the wing"), Dijane Lazović (from the cycle "Touch"), Nade Kazic (Mijena - Garden I), Bojana Popović (2 points of Fraction), Rista Radmilović (Analytics of flight) and Đorđi Bata Boljević (from the series "People-Wolves").
