Balša Brković's literary evening at the "Savo Pejanović" school

As part of the new "Student forum on Wednesdays at 17 p.m." at the "Savo Pejanović" elementary school in Podgorica, a literary evening will be held today by the famous Montenegrin writer, literary and theater critic and columnist, Balša Brković, who, by the way, was also a student of that school.

The evening will be opened by the director of the school, prof. Zoran Đukić, and the mediator will be prof. Dr. Dragan Koprivica.

As announced, in the first part of the evening, Brković will speak to young lovers of literature excerpts from his works with references to contemporary literary trends in Montenegro and beyond, and then he will answer students' questions.

Brković was born in Titograd in 1966, graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade (General Literature and Theory of Literature Group); in later years he proved himself as a progressive intellectual and pacifist; edits the ART supplement and publishes columns in the daily "Vijesti" since the establishment of the newspaper in 1997. He is the winner of the state award "Glorified Gospel" for the novel "Private Gallery" (2003), he is a member of the Montenegrin PEN Center and the Montenegrin Society of Independent Writers. So far, he has published six collections of poetry, four novels and one collection of short stories.

"Savo Pejanović" elementary school management will, after this, for the third time in a row, continuously hold student forums inviting prominent cultural workers, athletes and other established personalities with the aim of enriching cultural content for students from the first to the ninth grade, according to the announcement of the event.
