European Film Festival until October 31

The autumn edition of the online European Film Festival, organized by the European Union in Montenegro, is underway.

As part of the festival, which lasts until October 31, on the website www.festivalscope.com ten feature-length and six short-length European films can be watched for free.

The EU Info Center explained that to access the content on the site, you need to create an account and select the icon called EUFFestival 2021, which leads to a link with available films.

The online repertoire includes feature films Akasa, my home, Aurora, Bad songs, There will be fire, Employed, My brother is chasing dinosaurs, Oleg, Our battles, Parfemi and Audition. These are works that were mostly co-produced by EU member states and have been awarded multiple times at international festivals.

Short films dedicated to environmental protection, climate change and the rights of women, children and LGBTQIA+ are also available.

"The Online European Film Festival showcases the diversity and complexity of European Union culture through innovative film programming, opening the way for further fruitful interpersonal and cultural relations. We hope that this virtual festival will contribute to the film sector becoming a key driver of dialogue, especially in the current situation, in which culture and creativity have become more important than ever", say the festival organizers.

The European Union has traditionally organized the European Film Festival in Montenegro for seven years. This year and the previous year, the festival was moved online, due to the epidemiological situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
