When, due to an injury, he had to hang up his sneakers and forget, at least about playing football professionally, Nikšić's Milan Delić was busy. He wrote 13 books, 12 in which he wove threads of lyrics and philosophy, while the book "Ideja i pogledi" is an essay type.
The books "Ideja i pogledi" and his last book simply titled "Poetry" will be promoted as part of the November repertoire of the Nikšić cultural scene on Monday, November 15 in the hall "Zahumlja". Editor Radomir Uljarević will talk about the books, which were published by "Štampar Makarije" from Belgrade and "Obodsko slovo" from Podgorica, and whose promotion is organized by JU "Zahumlje", while the program will be led by drama artist Miro Nikolić.
"My literary work is actually research with conception. In the essay book 'Ideja i pogledi', there is philosophy interwoven from both psychological and sociological aspects, while the other books are about writing poetry with universal themes", said Delić.
As the reviewer of the mentioned books, literary critic Želidrag Nikčević wrote, there are still "people who perceive poetry and philosophy as an essentially unique form of existence, not only as a path to wisdom and beauty, not as a sometimes useful pastime, and not especially as a pose and profession - but as a daily service and life's temptation".
In the words of Nikčević, there are no genre boundaries and definitions in Delić's work, because this "tireless devotee of the spirit and the written word" was used to "thinking, writing and singing in solitude", since he did not fit into the "usual poetic templates".
"But that didn't stop him from building a unique style, from treating universal themes poetically, and to reach out philosophically," wrote Nikčević.
Delić, as Nikčević pointed out, "patiently builds his quiet and noble world of thought", following his own idea and "casting" a glance at its enigmatic horizon.
Delić lives and creates in Nikšić and in Belgrade, he has published, in addition to the books that will be promoted, "Album", "Face of Dawn", "Sunday Night", "The Sound of Pictures", "Fire from Stone", "Garden of Life", "Secret of Silence", "Mirror of Light", "Eternity", "Realization" and "Paradise".
