Young artists from Nikšić, twelve of them, painted all the walls of the professor's buffet at the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić, as part of the "Start and Art" project, which was designed by a Montenegrin artist and professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, prof. Ph.D Ana Miljkovac.

In addition to the 74-square-meter mural, the buffet also received a 25,5-square-meter stained-glass window, so that the entire space exudes a unique painterly and stylistic compactness, and it was conceived in accordance with the theme "Response to Matis", explained Miljkovac to "Vijesta".

The artists who participated in the painting and successfully and creatively responded to Matis, i.e. the task, are: Vladana Mirković, Milena Krivokapić, Aleksandra Božović, Jelica Joksović, Isidora Sarić, Draško Karadžić, Janko Baletic, Stefan Ševaljević, Izabel Valente, Kristina Lazarević, Kristina Lalatović i Mia Vujovic.

The project is financed by the Municipality of Nikšić, the collaborators are the Faculty of Philosophy and the Museums and Galleries of Nikšić, and the assistant on the project is the young academic sculptor Vladana Mirković, MSc.

"Start and Art" continues this month, and one of the planned activities is the realization of the exhibition of two young artists from Nikšić, Aleksandra Božović and Stefan Ševaljević, which will be opened at the end of the month in the club of the Faculty of Philosophy, Miljkovac pointed out.
