Rag Angels and Error 404 - were declared the best performances of the 30th Kotor Children's Theater Festival (KFPD), which ended last night with the award ceremony and the performance "Zelena gora" by the Youth Theater and KC "Nikola Đurković".
As stated in the KFPD announcement, the expert jury consisting of director Anđelka Nikolić, theater expert Igor Tretinjak and poet Dejan Đonović awarded the best in as many as eight categories.
The director award went to Julio and Wagner Gallo for the play Error 404.
Performance Rewards:
- Kristina Savkov, Girl with Matches, Novi Sad Youth Theater, Festival of Ecological Theater for Children and Young People and Freedom Has No Price.
- The ensemble of the play "Red Shoes" by the Theater for Children and Youth Merlin
- Dominik Karakašić and Irena Bausović Tomljanović, Cafe Kingdom Puppet Theater Zadar
- Award for choreography - Baczo Tunde, Red Shoes of Theater for Children and Youth Merlin
- Award for music - Cari Tibor, Red Shoes Theater for Children and Youth Merlin
- Exploring stage language - Tin Grabnar for the direction of the plays Somewhere else by the Ljubljana Puppet Theater and Tihi dečak by the Children's Theater Kragujevac
"Traditionally, during the 12 days of the program, the audience had the opportunity to enjoy dozens of segments of the theater, educational, cultural and dance program, and their satisfaction is reflected in the fact that more tickets were requested for all programs," the statement added.
The announcement states that the jury of the city of Kotor is 30. KFPD - Ružica Rebronja, Iva Malešević, Vesna Ivanović. Tanja Roganović and Maja Mrđenović, with a majority of votes, awarded the award for the best play to the play "Somewhere Elsewhere", a production of the Ljubljana Puppet Theater, directed by Tino Grabnar, which also won the Children's Jury Award.
"Although it is a difficult subject, it is presented strikingly and movingly, in a way that evokes sympathy and understanding. The actress, who is both the narrator and animator of various objects, through interaction with cartoon and filmed material, told us a simple and clear story that is both poignant and full of hope," the children's jury explained.
They conclude that the organizers thanked the audience for the great response, and all the artists for their cooperation, who once again created an unforgettable experience for the jubilee 30th birthday of the Kotor Children's Theater Festival, which announced the establishment of the JU Children's Theater in Kotor.
