Pavle Bukilić from Podgorica and Jelena Andrić from Višegrad are the winners of this year's "Rescue Pajo Blagojević" award, which is awarded by the Plužine Center for Culture.
That's what the jury decided Radomir Uljarević, Milica Kralj i Milica Bakrač.
"The peculiarity of the selected manuscript is reflected in the melancholic-vulnerable living and experiencing of life, in the innumerable pitfalls and dangers that every day generously brings, in reminding and recalling the nearest and dearest beings, in the windows from the family-home circle", it says, among other things, in the explanation of the jury for the manuscript Pavle Bukilić under the title "Letter about a woman".
As the jury pointed out, "the imperative emphasis contained in the symbol of the title 'A letter about a woman' is an autopoetic indicator of thematic diversity that leads into the reflective, in-depth content of the poem."
Poem manuscript Jelena Andric "Gorice cvet" contains 20 love-themed songs" performed outside the usual and established templates and recognizable lyrical conceptions".
"Through metrics and rhythm, variety of forms, metaphoricality, a verse that constantly changes from song to song, with a center from which pulsates vitalistic energy, the author writes a love song of extended duration," the jury's explanation states.
As the jury stated, Jelena's songs emerge from each other and "naturally blossom with sound and meaning".
"In this age of cruelty, hopelessness, cruelty and disharmony, the manuscript 'Gorica flower' embodies a pantheistic representation of the enduring power of love as the basis from which life emerges," stated the jury.
Poets up to the age of 27 from the former Yugoslavia who have unpublished collections had the right to participate, and the award-winning collection will be printed by the Center for Culture in Plužine, while young poets gained the right to participate in subsequent poetry meetings.
The "Radule Željko Damjanović" prize, which is awarded to young poets, primary and secondary school students from Montenegro, was won by Milena Bogetić, a student of the "Stojan Cerović" Gymnasium in Nikšić. That's what the jury decided Ranko Mićanović, president, and members Mirko Damjanović i Nebojsa Vulanović.
