The Faculty of Fine Arts (FLU), with its expert and professional approach, improved the art scene in the best way and contributed to the creation and promotion of the high artistic reach of Montenegro, which is best evidenced by the confirmed values of Montenegrin contemporary art heritage, said the Minister of Culture and Media, Maša Vlaović.
Today, she met with representatives of FLU and the winner of the "Perspektive" redemption award, Jelena Iličković Tomić, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Media.
"The Ministry of Culture and Media, appreciating the importance of FLU in the field of artistic heritage and in the creation and promotion of artistic events, will continue to support the activities of that institution," said Vlaović.
During the meeting, it was agreed to continue cooperation according to the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Ministry and FLU, and they also discussed the improvement of cooperation with the aim of creating a richer and more competitive art and art scene in Montenegro, with tendencies to expand towards the global scene.
Vlaović offered the representatives of FLU the help of the Ministry in the realization of new initiatives and projects they have planned for the next year, which concern education and training of students, as well as their mobility and exchange of experiences and knowledge in all areas of fine arts.
"At the meeting, it was also discussed about giving space in creative hubs that would serve students and professors of FLU for the implementation of programs and activities that will improve the cohesiveness of the art scene with the institutions that are competent in these areas in Montenegro", according to the announcement of the Ministry of Culture and media.
