The play "Anna Karenina", which is based on the novel of the same name Leo N. Tolstoy directed Mirko Radonjic, co-produced by the Royal Theater "Zetski dom" and the Drama Studio "Prazan prostor", will be performed on Saturday and Sunday (October 15 and 16) in the Zagorič Military Hangar in Podgorica, starting at 19 p.m.
It is a three-part play (The Nature of Falling in Love, The Nature of Time and The Nature of Madness), in which the roles of Sanja Vujisic, Aleksandar Gavranić i Pavle Prelevic, and brings a search for ways to read Tolstoy's classic, and to enter into a dialogue with it as a platform for the performers and the audience to reflect on how to love today.
A few days ago, "Anna Karenina" won the Grand Prix of the 62nd MESS International Theater Festival in Sarajevo - "Golden Laurel Wreath for the best play as a whole".
Also, the "Golden Laurel Wreath for the Best Acting Performance" went to Aleksandar Gavranić, while the "Rejhan Demirdžić" award for the best young actors went to Sanja Vujisić and Pavle Prelević. Ilija Gajević the "Sound of MESS" award of Radio Sarajevo for sound and music went to the show, while the play also won the "Golden Mask" awarded by the Sarajevo daily "Oslobođenje".
