The phenomenon of image in literature

The new tribune of JU "Zahumlje" called "Imaginarium" starts tomorrow.

"The project will include a series of sessions whose main theme will be the phenomenon of painting treated through various arts. The goal is to see and affirm the contemporary art scene and criticism through the phenomenon of the image, and especially among the younger generations, to develop and suggest a value attitude about concrete works of art. In the program, renowned figures from the regional and national cultural and artistic scene will present themselves and talk about the phenomenon of painting", explained the author of the project.

Sava Damajnov is a Serbian writer, literary historian and professor emeritus at the University of Novi Sad. He wrote prose, literary-critical and literary-historical works. His scientific research is primarily focused on fantastic literature, erotic and language-experimental layers in the Serbian tradition, reception theory, postmodernism and comparative studies. In addition to numerous articles in periodicals, he published a considerable number of books. He taught at the Department of Slavic Studies at the University of Tübingen (Germany); and he also gave lectures at the Universities of Regensburg, Freiburg, Berlin, Halle, Trier, Göttingen, Bonn, Turin, Venice, Krakow, Wroclaw, Warsaw, Gdańsk, Lodz, Opole, Sosnoviec, Veliki Trnov, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Cetinje, Skopje , Budapest, Kiev and Lviv. As part of his doctoral studies, he was engaged as a mentor at domestic and foreign universities in Belgrade, Niš, Nikšić, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Lisbon, Venice, Krakow, Szeged, and Melbourne. He is a participant in many international literary and scientific symposia in the country and abroad.

His texts have been translated into English, French, German, Russian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Slovak, Ruthenian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Slovenian and Macedonian. It is represented in anthologies of contemporary Serbian prose.

Marijana Terić is a doctor of social and humanities at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Novi Sad and the first doctor in the field of fantastic literature in Montenegro. She has published three scientific monographs, "The Inner Side of Time", "Literary Observations" and "Endless Roads - Reception of Yugoslav Fantastic Prose", she is the editor of the edition "Fantastica Montenegrina - Selection of Montenegrin Fantastic Stories of the Second Half of the 20th Century" and the founder and editor-in-chief of the first magazine for fiction in literature and art in Montenegro called "Athanatik".

He is a participant in international conferences in Zadar, Sarajevo, Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Lviv, Gdańsk, Katowice, Wroclaw, as well as other scientific gatherings in the country. He publishes works for several professional and scientific magazines for culture and literature. He is a member of the editorial board of the magazine of the Polish community in Montenegro called "GLOS". Her areas of interest are literary fiction, postmodernism and comparative studies.
