The play "EXPOSED", according to the idea and direction Sandra Vujović, will be performed tomorrow in Bar, on the big stage of the Cultural Center at 20 p.m.
"It is a research-artistic platform that, through a dramatic form, analyzes the genesis of the problem of the unequal position of women in a patriarchal society," the announcement states.
Dramaturgy and direction are signed by Vujović, along with the text by four other writers from Montenegro and the region: Teodora Kipa, Ana Leković, Marijana Aracki i Katarina Nikolić. He composed the music Vesko Lazović, the dolls are signed Milena Jane, and light Danilo Malović. She is in charge of stage speaking Katarina Krek. The production team consists of: Dubravka Maticic, Kristina Gacevic i Vladimir Cvijetić.
The play features: Smiljana Martinović, Anđelija Rondović, Anđela Radović i academic painter Marija Radusinović.
"The play is a dramatic collage, an omnibus that analyzes in detail the genesis of violence against women. Created from five writing pens of women who gathered around this topic, it presents a polyphonic analysis of the causes and consequences of the unequal relationship that women face even today, in the third decade of 21 . of the century," the announcement states.
Vujović points out that the project represents the reaction of a group of women, artists, to such an environment.
"They come to their findings, cognitions and attitudes through research work and shape it on stage using all available theatrical means and multimedia at the level of form. During their lives, women are exposed to the most diverse forms of discrimination and violence that manifest themselves from physical abuse, through sexism, objectification, misogyny, internet bullying and the fact that women often earn less than their male colleagues even though they perform the same jobs," says Vujović. .
Their goal, she adds, is to point out all the moments of female exposure to different, covert forms of violence.
"It is violence that, at first glance, does not seem like that to us, so very often we are not even aware that we are victims. These are the acts of violence that we have lived with and that have become an integral part of our lives, the lives of our mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers. That is the traditional violence that was passed down from generation to generation, and which we often, in ignorance, call tradition. In this play, we paint the many animals of society that are prophesied by patriarchy. We literally illustrate the conditions and scars it causes. Using satire, we criticize what had to be changed and eradicated in society a long time ago - sexism, misogyny and discrimination. During each performance of this play, two artistic processes will take place before the eyes of the audience - a dramatic work, a work being performed, and a work of art in the making," said Vujović.
The performance "EXHIBITED" was created as a joint project of the Independent Theater Scene "Rebellion" (Rebellion Scene) and the Tivat Culture Center.
