"Everything has its own trace and its own time. And the trace itself is an invisible burden," wrote Vukosav Delibašić in the book of poetry "The Trace" which was promoted in Nikšić's "Zahumlje". ", as Dr. Petar Milatović Ostroški wrote in the foreword, were presented to the audience by reviewer Anđela Peković and Radojka Draganić, MSc.
As Anđela Peković said, the author has the need to declare the word as a "personal guardian and mnemonic capable of blurting out when clues appear".
"Vukosav Delibašić (p)leaves "Trace" as a signpost and a baptismal certificate, a testimony and a biography... He sifts through memories, moves from thought to thought, is reflected and recognized in concrete images and emotions... The stone and the birthstone are part currents of resistance to the harsh reality and a constant in Delibašić's patriotic poems, so it will turn out that it is also about their basic core of gathering. Regret for past times, closer relationships and warm words, is the leading feeling in this collection of poems, although this is not surprising considering that the poet sees the past as the vestibule of the future," Peković pointed out.
In the collection, which has about 80 songs divided into several cycles, Delibašić sings about his homeland, love, transience, he remembers the past, his homeland with nostalgia, he criticizes the not-so-bright present, he poetically communicates with Njegoš and Andrić, he remembers Milan Dug Krivokapić. .
"Delibašić, drawing the reader's attention to the motif of love, leaves a trail that emerges from the paradise unseen, in order to surprise someone else with it," the reviewer of the book believes.
Radojka Draganić pointed out that Delibašić "weaves a web of motifs of transience, eternity, nostalgia for the homeland, for the great-grandfather's house".
"In the poetry of Vukosav Delibašić, the past, more precisely, peaceful childhood and youth, which is affirmative, collides with the present time, a new way of life," Draganć pointed out.
According to her, the author of the collection speaks critically about the present time, which is presented non-affirmatively, and is also critical of those who forget the traces of their ancestors.
The author thanked everyone who helped him publish the book, but also those who came to speak and listen about his trail, aware that it is best preserved in the written word. As he pointed out, the time that has passed is best preserved if it is written down. He incorporated experience and acquired knowledge into the verses, but also imagination and ideas, he "washed" the book with all the traces that have passed, as well as those that are yet to come. The connection between the writer, time and the book gives it a timeless dimension, according to the author.
"Look for happiness in the future path, if you haven't given the previous one to hell," says Delibašić in the lyrics.
And his verses were introduced to the audience by Tijana Vujović, Miloš Zvicer, Ratko Ćetković and Delibašić's granddaughter Maša, while the mediator of the evening was art historian Kristina Radović.
Delibašić published the collection "In the moment – haiku and other forms of Japanese poetry", and the novels "In the maelstrom of time" and "Return from Hell", for which he received the "Slaviša Nikolin Živković" award from the Society of Writers and Literary Translators of the City of Niš. He is a member of several literary associations in the region.
The organizer of the promotion was JU "Zahumlje" as part of the April repertoire of the Nikšić cultural scene.
