The opening ceremony of the first Chinese Film Festival in Montenegro, organized by the European Times and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Montenegro, in cooperation with the Confucius Institute, China Media Group and the media agency Media Biro, will be held on Thursday, in the large amphitheater of the Faculty of Economics, at 18 p.m. hours.
Through a discussion on film art, with the aim of strengthening the cultural exchange between Montenegro and China and improving mutual understanding between the two peoples, segments of the Chinese films The Wandering Earth (2019) and Ne Zha (2019) with Montenegrin subtitles will be shown on that day.
During the opening of the Festival, the dean of the Faculty of Economics, prof. Ph.D Mijat Jocović, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Montenegro H.E. Fan Kun, Minister of Culture and Media Masha Vlaović, representatives of the Confucius Institute at UCG, representatives of the European Times, the first Chinese state media group to open a branch in Montenegro.
In addition to the rich cultural and entertainment program, during the duration of the Festival, the organizers also planned a prize draw for all present.
