"Image and comics" is the theme of the fourth session of the "Imaginarium" project, which will be held tonight in the "Zahumlja" hall at 19 p.m. The guest of "Imaginarium" will be dr Luka Rakojević, art theoretician, while the conversation will be led by the author of the project, art historian and editor of the program at JU "Zahumlje" Kristina Radovic.
Rakojević completed his basic, specialist and master's studies at the Faculty of Arts, and received his doctorate last year on the topic "The Land of Comics (Outside)". During his undergraduate and specialist studies, he was an associate and editor of the culture section of the student portal tragom.me. He is a participant in several international scientific meetings in the country and the region and the author of numerous texts for magazines dealing with various spheres of art and culture. He also published texts in magazines focused on humanistic studies. He published several literary texts in collections of poetry and prose.
He is the winner of a number of student awards, as well as the Best Young Comic Theoretician Award in the Balkans in 2017 in Leskovac. He is the author of texts for several exhibition catalogs, a participant in literary promotions and a lecturer at various events. He gave lectures by invitation in many cultural institutions throughout Montenegro and at numerous events and forums.
The "Imaginarium" project, a new project of the "Zahumlje" JU, includes a series of sessions whose basic theme is the phenomenon of the image treated through various arts.
"The goal is to see and affirm the contemporary art scene and criticism through the phenomenon of the painting, and especially among the younger generations, to develop and suggest a valuable attitude about concrete works of art. Renowned figures from the regional and national cultural and artistic fields will present themselves and talk about the phenomenon of the painting in the program. scenes", reminded Radović.
"Imaginarium" is organized as part of the June repertoire of the Nikšić cultural scene.
