As part of the accompanying program of the 18th International Festival of the Mediterranean Theater "Purgatorija", tomorrow evening starting at 21.30:XNUMX, the theater play "Filomena Marturano" will be performed on the summer stage in Tivat.
This play has been playing since 2013, and was co-produced by the City Theater from Podgorica and the Ju Center for Culture Tivat.
Anita Mančić, Branimir Bane Popović, Jelisaveta Seka Sablić, Nebojša Kundačina, Momčilo Otašević, Nebojša Kundačina, Emir Ćatović, Kristina Obradović, Božidar Zuber, Andrea Mugoša and Pavle Popović play in that play.
The comedic melodrama "Filomena Marturano" by the Italian actor and director Eduardo de Filipe is a story about marriage, love and passion. This interpretation of that text, directed by Jagoš Marković, bursts with passion, emotion and humor, which envelops the intimate drama of two people united by emotions and passion into one, and separated from each other by life and social circumstances. The characters in the play move between humor, satire, cynicism and deep and true drama.
"Filomena Marturano" is a production that the Montenegrin critics after the premiere evaluated as "a miracle that happened on the theater boards" and "theatrical earthquake".
The play, directed by Marković, evokes an extremely interesting vision of the Mediterranean and Mediterranean nature in a story about family values and love passions.
In addition to tomorrow's performance, "Filomena Marturano" is on the program of "Purgatory" for the next two evenings - on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30.
