Žarko Marović's literary evening tonight at the Bar Chronicle

The Bars segment of the Chronicle brings another literary program tonight - the promotion of the books "Despair" and "Čobo in 22.561 words" by the Crmnica storyteller Žarko Marović, announced the organizer of the Bar Chronicle.

As mentioned, Marović is the oldest debutant at bARS, given that this is his first independent literary evening.

The moderator of the evening, Dragana Erjavšek, will, as stated, talk with the author in the Castle of King Nikola, from 21 p.m.

"Žarko Marović was born in 1957. He graduated from the "Niko Rolović" Gymnasium in Bar, he has been actively engaged in writing since 2016, and he is employed in the city company "Vodovod i Kanalizacija". Unfettered by any literary or stylistic norms, not molded into any of the shelves of contemporary creativity, he published a dozen books. Among them, in addition to the two novels that will be presented tonight, the most important are: the collection of short stories "Forty Days for my Soul", the drama "Blaženi", and the novels: "GC Nepper", "He didn't like water", "I will pray for you", "General place", reads the announcement of the Bar Chronicle.

Fire dance workshop

It is added that today at 10 a.m. in the park of King Nikola's Castle, a fire dance workshop will be organized as part of the Accompanying Program.

The author of the workshop, as they said, is the artist Sonja Vojvodić, who will perform at the King Nikola Promenade on the same day in the evening, together with the participants of the workshop.

This dance performance called "The Magic of the Elements", as announced, will start at 21.30:XNUMX p.m.

"Sonja Vojvodić is a versatile artist from Bar. She has been involved in music since she was a child. She completed primary and secondary music school. She graduated from the music academy in Cetinje, after which she went on a trip around the world. She traveled to India, Thailand, Egypt, Jordan and various European countries. During her travels, she collected knowledge and skills of different cultures, which greatly influenced her art. On one of her travels, she met and tried her hand at dancing with fire, which became her professional occupation. Today, she performs all over the country and region and it's an attraction wherever it appears," reads the press release of the Bar Chronicle.
