Anton Baranov, the world-famous guitarist and composer Roland Djens, called him "one of those rare guitarists who bring their audience to a state where they almost forget what instrument they are playing, but focus them on the expressiveness of the music and only that".

The Nikšić audience was convinced that Djens was not mistaken when the Russian guitarist introduced himself as part of the 18th Nikšić Guitar Fest.

Baranov performed compositions by Chopin, Paganini, Tchaikovsky, Lyadov, Rimsky and Johann Mertz on the six-string romantic guitar.

Although the audience is used to classical guitarists playing sitting down, this was not the case with Baranov, perhaps for the simple reason that his music "danced" around the stage, so it was easier for the guitarist, who is considered one of the leading guitarists of today, to keep up while standing. with her.

"This is an opportunity for the audience to be convinced that regardless of the things that surround us and the speed of life, that classical music is alive and that artists live for this art," said Baranov after the concert.

His performances in New York, St. Petersburg, Moscow and Beijing were described by music critics as "pure magic", and him as an artist who "manages to paint sound pictures of sumptuous depth and color with his guitar".

Baranov "painted" around the "Zahumlja" hall, and the audience recognized the pictures and felt the emotions and reciprocated with thunderous applause and returning to the encore.

"Each performance carries with it responsibility and a certain specificity. It was the same with this performance. I liked the feedback of the audience, the festival and I am very grateful to the organizers for inviting me," said the artist who received his musical education in the oldest and most famous to the Russian music school, St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory, where he has been teaching guitar since 2010.

"The concert was full of different emotions and characters and obviously the audience liked it. I would like that experience to be repeated night after night, because I adore music", the guitarist who has two studio releases - one, of Latin American guitar sonatas and the second consisting of Spanish guitar music.

The guitar festival is organized by the NGO "Anagastum Guitar Society" under the auspices of the Municipality of Nikšić and the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro, with the support of the Nikšić Theater, the "Zahumlje" JU and the Music Academy of the University of Montenegro.
