As part of the "European Music of Montenegrin Cultural Diplomacy" project, a panel discussion: "Montenegro's cultural diplomacy and heritage" will be held in the multimedia hall of the Ministry of Culture on Thursday, October 19 at 18 p.m. in Cetinje.

The Creative Women of Montenegro Foundation said that the primary goal of this panel is a public discussion on the relationship between cultural heritage and cultural diplomacy.

"The panel discussion will try to initiate a conversation on numerous issues related to the use of heritage in cultural diplomacy. The second part of the discussion will focus on the relationship of the European Union towards cultural heritage and the importance of cultural diplomacy activities in order to encourage European cohesion and the improvement of integration as well as to offer answers to the contemporary challenges of foreign policy. Through answers to a set of questions, the panelists will express their opinions on the role of cultural diplomacy in the development of the awareness of the citizens of Montenegro when it comes to European values. The panel discussion will end with the suggestions of the panelists on how to improve the cultural offer of Montenegro in to the function of developing cultural diplomacy", it is written in the press release of the Foundation of Creative Women of Montenegro.

This event is part of the project "European Music of Montenegrin Cultural Diplomacy", which is supported within the framework of the Regional Program of Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 2.
