The poets, Milica Kralj from Podgorica and Spasoj Bajović from Nikšić, will tonight be presented with the "Mirko Banjević" literary award for published books of poetry in 2021 and 2022.
The award ceremony, which consists of a plaque and a monetary amount and is awarded by the Literary Association (KZ) "Mirko Banjević" from Nikšić, is scheduled for 19:XNUMX in the "Zahumlja" hall.
Milica Kralj received the award for the collection "Čisanice" (2021) published by "Štampar Makarije" from Belgrade and "Obodsko slovo" from Podgorica, and Bajović for the book of poems "Put u vatru" (2022) published by the Municipality of Plužine and the Book Community "Vladimir Mijušković" from Nikšić.
Prizes will also be awarded for the first published book - to Marko Sandić from Pljevlja for the book "Silent Forgiveness" (2021), published by the Association of Writers of Montenegro, and to Milisav Rosić from Mojkovac for the collection "Drugi svijet" (2021), published by the publisher " Lider mont media" from Kolašin.
The awardees were decided by a jury composed of: prof. Dr. Dragan Koprivica (president) and Dr. Radoje Femić and MSc Aleksandar Ćuković (members), and the decisions were made unanimously.
At the awards ceremony, Dragan Koprivica will talk about Milica Kralj's book, Femić about Bajović's collection, while Aleksandar Ćuković will present the books of young poets. The president of KZ "Mirko Banjević", poet Radislav Gardašević, will also address those present, while the program will be led by Kristina Radović
The prize for prose was not awarded this year.
