The play "Tarzan - lord of the jungle" in Tivat

The performance of the Podgorica City Theater "Tarzan - Lord of the Jungle", which is intended for people over the age of five, will be performed today in the large hall of the Tivat Culture Center at 18 p.m.

This piece is based on the novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, directed by Davor Dragojević and Tamara Vujošević Mandić.

Dragojević says that they wanted to tell the story of Tarzan, who was the hero of many older generations, to younger generations.

"Our Tarzan is done in a slightly different way, with very little dialogue, a lot of dancing and choreography, with puppets and attractive elements, and yet the story is told in a classic theatrical expression," he stated.

Vujošević Mandić adds that it is worth reviving the childhood hero of the older generations and pointing out to children the forgotten, true human values, primal emotions.

"Nobility, love and nature are the most important segment of every living being and the backbone of this play. Actors along with puppets and movement, as the most important non-verbal element of the play, convey in an interesting, interesting and powerful way the story of the life of a boy, a boy from the jungle, Tarzan. In this story, animals are the positives, and man is the villain," she points out.

The play features: Milo Perović, Jelena Simić, Marija Đurić/Jelena V. Đukić, Miloš Kašćelan, Lara Dragović, Pavle Ilić, Anđela Radović, Vukan Pejović, Smiljana Martinović, Sejfo Seferović, Itana Dragojević, Anđela Marunović, Matija Memedović and Aleksa Balević. .
