On the connection between painting and design with Nikčević and Kadović

The topic of the eighth session of the "Imaginarium" forum, which will be held tomorrow evening in the "Zahumlja" hall in Nikšić at 19 p.m., is "Image and design".

Guests of "Imaginarium", the author's project of the art historian and program editor at the "Zahumlje" JU Kristina Radovic, its Ilija Nikcevic i Milovan Mico Kadovic, graphic designers and founders of the graphic studio "Bad Brain". The conversation will be led by the author of the project, and the discussion is part of the March repertoire of the Nikšić cultural scene.

Nikčević graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Novi Sad, majoring in graphics, in the class Slobodan Abi Knežević. He is a member of ULUCG, and he exhibited independently and at selected exhibitions in the country and abroad. He won the first prize for drawing at the annual exhibition of drawings in Šabac, 2006, the grand prix at the traditional exhibition Days of St. Vasilij Ostroški in Nikšić, 2007, and the regional award "Little Prince" for the illustrated book "The Mole and the Sun". He deals with graphics, illustration and graphic design.

Kadović graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Trebinje, Department of Graphics.

He is a member of ULUCG, and the winner of several prestigious awards in the field of fine art and graphic design. He represented Montenegro with collages at the prestigious Sarajevo Winter festival in 2013. He worked as a designer for the UNICEF office in Podgorica (2009-2014), as a junior expert on the EU4Tech regional program, collaborated on projects of the UNDP office in Podgorica, GiZ Montenegro, as well as the Government and ministries of Montenegro. Since November 2023, he has been working as an associate expert in the field of graphic design with the UNDP office in Montenegro. He is a designer, fine artist and educator in the field of graphic design.
