When you "tighten the truth by the throat", you realize that there is "nothing more difficult, because it tightens everything", that "our tongue is salted", and that "we have had nothing to be ashamed of for a long time", because we have nothing to be ashamed of except ourselves, that we are here , and that we are still not there and that we are not purely "are we there, or were we", then a poetic deed arises. But not just anyone Radislav Gardašević, president of the "Mirko Banjević" Literary Association, which organized the promotion of his latest poetry collection "My Deed" at the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić.
Prof. Ph.D Dragan Koprivica, one of the reviewers of Gardašević's book, used the verses Aleksandra Lesa Ivanovic from the poem "Shadow People", and said that there are peaceful and good poets in the world who tread silently and silently through life, and that Gardašević is one of them. According to Koprivica, he did not use "the usual recipes of some poets to attract the attention of the wider public through Faulkner's noise and fury, but even today he carries out his mission in literature, far from all accompanying politics, writing devotedly and contributing to the collective efforts to literature should be as present as possible".
According to Koprivica, Gardašević is strongly focused on his poetic oeuvre, and the title of the book "My Deed" already speaks of "rounding up the author's poetic and life attitudes, as a sign of artistic maturity and an attempt to form an important part of his complete poetic legacy". He adds that Gardašević uses archetypal images of the past and present, talks about man, our history, examples of humanity, but also the dangers of falling, as well as that in his poetic creation he starts from Aristotle's position that the concept of beauty can only exist if it is morally grounded.
"That's why Gardašević's poetry bears the stamp of an example of humanity, humanity and heroism, identifying the beautiful and moral norms in practice, translated into poetry, where the poet also sings the other side of the coin - the flip side of humanity and the eternal reminder that man must return to himself and his moral postulates" , said Koprivica and added that Gardašević advocates the position that a poet must be an active participant of the time in which he lives and calls out all those who want to suppress justice and the public word.
Dr They are happy Female, another reviewer, recalled that Gardašević led the "Literary Forum on Thursdays" at the Faculty of Philosophy, promoting famous literary creators from Montenegro and the surrounding area, but also affirming young poets, students of the Faculty of Philosophy, and that he and Aleksandar Ćuković were participants in that forum.
"How stimulating that forum and the opportunity to publicly present what we create was, and the fact that it nurtured almost all of today's most important authors who appear on the literary scene not only in Montenegro but also in the region," said Femić and added that Gardašević and continued to remain "a man with a deep literary mission", and that the book "My Deed" is an offshoot of such a lavish effort
Femić pointed out that Gardašević's collection in the title inherits the concept of a vow, and that it represents a spiritual, humanistic and poetic endowment.
"At a time when poetic speech is wrapped in a mantle of artificial abstraction and is lost in the invisible generalization, Gardašević's poetic images are characterized by concreteness, and the thought of his poetic voice is consistency. The poet leaves the deed to a dedicated reader, especially one who expects from poetry the unity of ethical and poetic principles", said Femić, emphasizing that the poet's creative and human ideal is a just society.
As he stated, Gardašević's poetry is engaged, where it is not just about a mere intellectual pose or attitude, but a living energy that transforms atrophied reality. With this, Gardašević, according to him, proves that he believes in the creative and transforming power of poetry, which frees the imprisoned human spirit, restoring dignity to man.
"The poetic thought of Radislav Gardašević, embodied in the poetic word, is the hardest and most permanent deed, a sure pledge to new generations whose understanding of the poetic tradition will not be bypassed even by the declaration of contemporary creativity", concluded Femić, stating that Gardašević is a social, social, but also romantic poet. poetry, poetry in which longing and suffering are read.
According to Aleksandar Ćuković, MSc, the third reviewer, Radislav Gardašević's latest poetic manuscript, in contrast to his earlier works, brings a sharper poetic tone that is "excavated from a swirling and dark reality from which there seems to be no way out".
"The poet, in a special way, gives us an account of individual and collective sins committed on the paths of the search for meaning, the redemption of which is only momentarily and devastatingly tepidly contemplated... The author arranges impressive poetic images, alive and life-giving, masterfully playing with the density and shades of darkness to which, as the deed says, it claims full rights. It is evident that, as the collection progresses, light manages to fight for its place, modest and shy, but impressive and strong", said Ćuković.
As he pointed out, Gardašević's collection is a special cry and call for alarm, an appeal sent at one minute to twelve to finally look reality in the eye and, if possible, settle accounts.
"It is also a call to face our own soul, our roots and identity. Gardašević's poetry calls for vigilance and has a sobering effect in an age that makes everyone dazzle and dazzle with the sweetness of easy entertainment and cheap glittery packaging. Her cruelty does not grow into banality. Gardašević sings elegantly and measuredly, and his leaden poetic images are easily etched in the memory," said Ćuković.
To read the poetry of Radislav Gardašević, according to him, to deal with it, means to search for the secret in the granaries of the unspoken.
"It requires an active and alert reader, a reader of the whiteness and silences sown among the verses and words that the poet decided to show the way. Only the one who was brave enough to look her in the eye and set her limits has a deed to the darkness. Doubly brave when he does it loftily, with poetry," Ćuković concluded.
At the end of the evening, Gardašević also spoke and thanked everyone who contributed to his book being printed and presented to the public, and above all to the publisher, the Association of Writers of Montenegro. As he pointed out, the writer must perceive phenomena in society, react to anomalies, and speak, not be silent.
"In crucial moments, the writer must take a stand, and not be submissive. Its determination is significant for society, and that implies freedom. Freedom is not only physical, but more importantly, a spiritual category that implies the willingness to raise one's voice against unfreedom, even when it is known that such a stance will be severely punished. That's why a literary work should express the spirit of the time in which the writer lives", said Gardašević.
The evening was led by a poetess Nataša Lalatovic who spoke Gardašević's poetry.
