The performance of the Nikšić Theater "Pluća", based on the text Duncan McMillan, directed by Andrei Nosov, will perform on Friday, June 7, at the Danilovgrad Cultural Center, and on June 23 at the 32nd Belgrade Summer Festival BELEF 2024.
It is a duodrama that talks about male-female relationships, problems faced by young married couples, helplessness, social and existential insecurity, and the question of whether a new life should be created in the world as it is. Roles are entrusted Maja Stojanović i Stevan Vuković, she did the scenography Vesna Sušić, costumes Marija Marković, light design Nemanja Calić, and she was a costume designer's assistant Smiljka Babić. The text was translated Ivan Vukovic.
"BELEF was created in 1992, designed to provide the audience with new, most significant and premiere performances of theater, acting and musical performances, concerts, discussions, literary presentations united within the concept: Belgrade premieres, new plays, new authors, new experiences, which would gave exclusivity to stage performances within BELEF in cooperation with city and republic cultural institutions, the University of Arts, art academies, independent stage and regional theaters and connection projects", reads the Nikšić Theater announcement.
