Underhill fest: Five films and a panel discussion tonight

Another interesting day awaits movie lovers as part of UnderhillFest, considering that they will have the opportunity to enjoy the works that will be shown in as many as three locations.

Thus, tonight at 18 pm in the "Gojko Kastratović" hall of the Montenegrin Cinematheque, as part of the "In Focus" program, which Underhill Fest realizes with the Center for Women's Rights, the film "Fairy Garden" directed by Gergo Somogyvário will be shown. The action of the film takes place on the outskirts of Budapest, in the very heart of the forest, where a dilapidated cabin is hidden. In it, extremely connected, live two social outcasts, 19-year-old transgender teenager Fanni and sixty-year-old homeless Laci. After the film screening, a panel discussion will be organized in which Jovan Ulićević, executive director of the association "Spektra" and Iskra Đurišić, an activist, will participate.

As part of the program "Musical documentaries in the pond" of the 15th Underhill Fest at 21 pm in the mentioned bar, the film "Joan Baez - I am noise" directed by Karen O'Connor, Miri Navasky and Maeve O'Boyle will be shown. The film interweaves diary entries and a wealth of previously unseen archival material with extensive interviews with musician, civil rights activist and Joan Baez, as well as backstage moments from the tour.

The short documentary film "Valerija" directed by Sara Jurinčić will be screened at the "Dragan Ivanović" Field in Njegoševo Park in Podgorica at 21:XNUMX p.m. This hybrid documentary takes us on a journey into a world without men

After that, the film "The Body" directed by Petra Seliškar will be shown at the same place at 21.20:20 p.m. Filmed over a period of XNUMX years, "The Body" is a sensitive and intimate exploration of the extraordinary life and complex inner world of a woman who fights with her unwavering spirit to resist a series of rare autoimmune diseases. After the film, a conversation with the director of the film will be organized.

The film "Silence of Reason" directed by Kumjana Novakova will be shown from 23 p.m. Forensic video essay constructed as a performative exploration of the first case at the International Court of Justice in The Hague for which a verdict was reached for rape as a form of torture and sexual exploitation as a crime against humanity.

In case of rain, the films planned for Njegošev Park will be shown in the "Radosav Ljumović" National Library.
