Ten years ago, from Nikšić Sara Drinčić she "sharpened" her pencil in the Literary Club (KK) "Poenta Poetika", which had just been founded at the Nikšić JU "Zahumlje", wrote a poem, stood in front of the audience and felt the charm of the first round of applause. Sara and "Poenta Poetica" grew up, overcame all children's "poetic" diseases together and matured enough that after a decade, when they look back, they can say - they succeeded.

“I was supposed to recite Lazarev (Šćekic) song. I felt at that moment that I could write something too, that it was sitting inside me and just waiting to come out, so instead of Lazarus' poem, I read my own. I really liked how it looked, what people said and that's how it all started. I don't have the feeling that ten years have passed since the founding of the Club, since the day we started Goran (Radojicic), who was like an older brother to us, brought us together and thanks to whom we progressed. He gave us encouragement and just when you fall into everyday life, Goran sends a message that we have a new gathering and I write something again. Now I already write when my soul needs it, and then it was all thanks to Goran", says Sara and adds that she hopes that she will soon stop in that poetic maturation, "acquire a calm line", choose what she wrote most beautifully and maturely and to bind.

Tijana Draganić has been in the Club for five years and three years ago she published her poetic debut "Nevoljena". As she says, "The point of poetics" gave her the wind at her back, enabled her to outgrow the verses she writes and dare to publish them.

"The club and those who are part of this club gave me an incentive, which is very important for a poet to progress, and motivated me. Goran was always there to point out if something needed to be improved, to praise what was good and of high quality. At first, I was also afraid to release my poetry to the public, but with the support of my sisters and the Club, I made it happen, and thanks to the contest 'Zenit', where I won, I published a collection. With that dose of maturity, the lyrics become much better," said Tijana.

Jubilee, a decade of poetic conquest of Nikšić, and they bravely stepped onto the stages throughout Montenegro and the region, KK "Poenta Poetika" decided to celebrate on the plateau in front of the Town Hall, where their poetic weaving started in 2014. The audience could hear the verses of Sara, Tijana, and other members of "Poente Poetika".

"At the time when we founded the Club, Obrad Nenezić and a few of us younger poets, we believed that our city needed a youth literary club. For many reasons. However, we were not sure how interested young people are, how much they read and write, and whether the claim that could be heard at every turn that poetry does not live among young people is correct. We soon became convinced that the rumors were false and that we were right. Ten years have passed and it seems to me that we have done significant things for the literary scene of Nikšić...", said Radojičić.

He reminded that they launched the "Poetic Propaganda" and "Days of Montenegrin Poetry" events, that they printed the collection "Mozaik" in which many young poets got the opportunity to publish their verses for the first time, and that the fourth issue is being prepared.

"We tried to reach young people and, in an informal, friendly atmosphere, with programs that are close to their interests, emphasize how important culture, art, and finally literature are. The Literary Club did not make them poets, but it gave them the wind at their backs and the initial impulse that started them to work. We managed to sustain ourselves and provide young people with what they obviously needed, which is support, which is the obligation of people who work in culture," Radojičić pointed out.

He thanked the parent house, JU "Zahumlje", as well as the "Njegoš" National Library, the municipality, the relevant ministry, the Nikšić literary communities, the media, and everyone who helped them "grow" and last.

On the jubilee, the tenth anniversary of the foundation, verses were spoken by Lazar Šćekić, in addition to Sara and Tijana, Lara Vujković, Andjela Pekovic, Mia Draskovic, Aleksandar Popovic, Miloš Jocović i Anđela Radovanović, while the moderator was Tijana Vujović.

"Today, we are working on programs that you were used to even before the corona virus, but also new ones, paying special attention to preschoolers and children of early school age, which is the recommendation of the ministries of education and culture, in order to raise awareness of the importance of reading at that early age, in order to educate new audience and found young talents, participants of some future programs", concluded Radojičić.
