The contemporary literature festival "Bookiranje" will be organized on September 12 and 13 at the Book Cafe in Podgorica, and the program prepared by the Fokalizer team will feature more than 30 participants from Montenegro and abroad.
The second edition of the festival was supported by the Secretariat for Culture and Sports of the Capital City of Podgorica and the Ministry of Culture and Media.
The prologue program includes the promotion of the picture book "Hrabra Anina i Mamina priča" by editor Tamara Milić, which Milić and illustrator Dunja Đuranović will present to the audience already on Thursday, September 12 at 12 noon.
The official opening of the festival is planned for 16:45, and the program of the first day of the festival will begin with a performance by the famous Montenegrin guitarists Srđan Bulatović and Darko Nikčević, which will be followed by the presentation of the annual "Milovan Đilas" Award for contribution to the affirmation of freedom of speech, which will be presented to the laureate by the president of the NVU Društvo of Montenegrin publishers and editor-in-chief of Fokalizer Vladimir Vojinović. The mediator of the opening ceremony is Jelka Malović.
At 17 p.m., the promotion of Fokalizator's edition of the poetry book "Radio Steering", whose author is the Ukrainian poetess Darina Gladun. The representative of the Embassy of Ukraine Anatolij Demeščuk, translator Anđela Radovanović, Vladimir Vojinović, Jelka Malović and the author will take part in the promotion.
At 18 p.m., two new prose books produced by Fokalizator will be presented - "Pod oštrim uglom" by Afan Latić and "Under the Voice" by Dragana Erjavšek. The editor of Pobjeda and writer Jelena Nelević will talk with the author.
The program at 19:XNUMX is reserved for the promotion of the book of short stories "Diačka četa" by the historian and writer Srđa Martinović, and the writer Miraš Martinović, editor of the edition and professor Svetlana Čabarkapa and moderator Itana Perišić will speak about this issue of Fokalizer.
At 20:XNUMX p.m., the new volume of the literature and culture magazine Fokalizator will be promoted, and the dean of the Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature Aleksandar Radoman, Tijana Todorović, editor Vojinović and moderator Jelena Nelević will speak about this thematic volume, whose numerous texts examine the consequences of peer violence.
The second day of the festival (September 13) will begin at 16:45 p.m. with the promotion of the book "Poetics of the Novel Passenger Sretena Asanović" by Jelka Malović, in which Vladimir Vojinović, Itana Perišić and the author will participate.
At 17:25, a promotion of the book "Stub Soli" by playwright and professor Aleksandar Radunović will be organized, in which, in addition to the author, the director Stevan Koprivica and the editor of the book, Sanja Vojinović, MA, will participate.
A new segment of the festival is a panel discussion, and the participants of the first panel on the topic "All colors of nationalism" will be Croatian historian Hrvoje Klasić, Montenegrin historian Adnan Prekić, Executive Director of the Center for Civic Education Daliborka Uljarević and the editor for historiography in the editorial office of Fokalizator, Montenegrin historian Miloš Vukanović. . The panel will start at 18:15.
Another novelty of the program are the workshops for children, which will take place in the Fokalizator meeting room (basement of Book Cafe). This year's workshop with the theme "How to turn a word into a picture" will be realized by Tijana Todorović and Sanja Vojinović, at 18:20.
Columnist and writer Andrej Nikolaidis, editor of TV Vijesti's show "Načisto" Petar Komnenić, director of TVNK Nikola Marković and Vladimir Vojinović will participate in the panel "Media and Power", which is scheduled for 19:10.
At 20:XNUMX, the promotion of another new edition of Fokalizator - the novel "Breaking the Wind" by the Croatian writer Ed Popović, and the writer and literary critic Dragana Erjavšek will talk with the author.
The two-day program of the festival will be closed with the promotion of the novel "Spark of Hope, Flame of Hope" by the Albanian author and university professor from Pristina Aga Apoloni, and the promotion of Fokalizator's publication will be attended by the translator from Kosovo Škeljzen Malići, translator Nikola Berishaj, Vladimir Vojinović and the author.
"Booking" is organized by the Fokalizator publishing house, in partnership with the NVU Association of Montenegrin Publishers, the Milovan Đilas Academy and the Podgorica Book Cafe. The visual identity of "Booking" is signed by university professor Suzana Pajović.
