Puppet shows from Spain, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania and Montenegro were included in the repertoire of the eleventh "International Puppet Festival, Podgorica - Montenegro". The magical world of dolls opens its doors today, and will last until Sunday, September 8.
Apart from Podgorica, the performances will be played in four cities in the north of Montenegro, in Andrijevica, Plav, Mojkovac and Žabljak.
Within the framework of the Festival, prizes are awarded: Grand Prix for the best play as a whole, "Goran Bulajić" prize for the best director, "Dragan Radulović" prize for the best dramaturgy, prize for the best aesthetic and technological solution of puppets, prize for the best scenography, prize for the best original score, five equal awards for acting mastery, a special jury award and a children's jury award for the best play.
He is the president of the expert jury Zoran Djeric, dramatist and theater historian, director of the Serbian National Theater from Novi Sad, Serbia, and are members Kristina Obradović, actress of the Montenegrin National Theater, Montenegro, i Lucija Prstec Smolčec, costume designer, artistic director of InPuT fest, Croatia.
The children's jury, made up of children from Podgorica, this year includes: Andrija Sakovic - president and members: Petar Đuranović, Andjela Celebic, Nikolija Popović, Laurent Ličina, Vučeta Janjušević, Jana Vojinović, Ksenija Pejović, Mila Canovic i Janja Milić.
The play "Jan Bibijan", performed by the Theater for Children and Young People - Kragujevac, is on the program of the first day of the Festival in Podgorica at 20.15:XNUMX p.m., in the Great Hall of the KIC, after the official opening of the Festival.
On the same day, the play "Baby - Sphere" will be performed in the Žabljak Culture Center, the Abun Theater from Vitoria - Gasteiz, from Spain, in Andrijevica, the "Mihailo Lalić" Center for Culture and Sports will host the Niš Puppet Theater from Serbia with the revue "The Yellow Duck" ", and in Plav, the "Husein Bašić" Cultural Center hosts a play "Some new Little Red Riding Hood" by the Theater for Children and Youth "Merlin" from Timisoara, Romania. All performances start at 12 noon.
On the second day of the Festival in Podgorica, the program "Stara planina" by the Kragujevac Children's and Youth Theater from Serbia is on the program in two times - from 18:20 and from 100:XNUMX. Spectator seats for this performance are limited to XNUMX.
On the same day, the Festival is visiting Mojkovac, at the "Nenad Rakočević" Cultural Center, at 11 a.m., with the performance "Once upon a time, one egg" by the Puppet Theater in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
On the third day of the program in the Great Hall of the KIC in Podgorica, the performances "Once upon a time, one egg" will be played at 10 and 12 o'clock by the Puppet Theater in Mostar, from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and "Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle" by the Podgorica City Theater, from 18 p.m. 20 hours.
On Saturday, also in the Great Hall of the KIC at 10:12 and 18:20, the performances "Some New Little Red Riding Hood" and "Fairy Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish" of the Niš Puppet Theater will be performed, from XNUMX:XNUMX and XNUMX:XNUMX.
On the last day, September 8, on the program in Podgorica at 10:12 and 100:18, the play "Baby - Sphere" will be performed, which has no text, and the number of seats for spectators is limited to 20, while from XNUMX:XNUMX the play " Happy House" by the City Puppet Theater Rijeka, from Croatia. This performance will be performed immediately after the announcement of the winner of the Festival, which is scheduled for XNUMX:XNUMX, in the Great Hall of the KIC.
Tickets for all performances that will be played in Podgorica can be purchased at the ticket office of the KIC, from 9 a.m. to 20 p.m., while admission to all performances in the north of Montenegro is free, and tickets will be available one hour before the performances begin. .
