"'Mother is a bitch' brings together texts and images that reflect the multi-layered practice of Kamerić through two main lines of her creativity: self-portraits and works on textiles. Her artworks are based on the artist's personal experiences, memories and dreams, leading us through global spaces of displacement and discrimination. They are viewed through the prism of gender, work, migration, class and care, imbued with intertwined layers of time - past and present," the MSUCG press release states.

The texts, the statement added, were displayed together with reproductions of Kamerić's works, exploring themes such as witchcraft, feminism, self-reflection, self-exploration and self-exploitation.

The edition was published by the prestigious German publishing house "Distanz", with the support of MSUCG as one of the partners in the publication. In addition to Bezmarević, the following participated in the project: Hana Curak, Iskra Geshoska, Jana Kocevska, Eddie Muka, Natalia Paunić, Linda Peitz, Bojana Pejić, Mathilde Sandlarz, Milica Trakilović, Adriana Locks i Jasmine Graves, and the editor is Long live Kleindienst.

The exhibition is open until November 6.
