January tour of "Hero of the Nation"

Nikšić Theatre's play "Hero of the Nation", based on the text Ivan M. Lalić in adaptation and direction Milan Nešković, as part of the January tour, will be performed in two national theaters and two cultural centers in Serbia. The tour begins on January 22 with a guest appearance at the Cultural Center "Mija Aleksić" in Gornji Milanovac, while the following evening the play will be performed at the National Theater in Belgrade. This will be followed by performances at the Cultural Center in Pančevo and the National Theater "Toša Jovanović" in Zrenjanin.

In the play, which premiered at the Nikšić Theater in September last year, the roles are played by Vladan Gajović, Biljana Keskenović, Stevan Vuković, Maja Stojanović i Ljubomir Bandović/ Nikola Vasiljević. He signs the scenography Vesna Sušić, costume design Margaret Schobot, The music is the work of the groups "Autogenous training" and "Azilanti", while the author of the photographs is Dusko Miljanic.

"Stop - look around you, look people in the eye, shake their hand, ask them how they are, what they want, what they dream about, notice them. But, first, start with the family - listen to each other, live with each other, not next to each other. Don't forget that your neighbor is your neighbor only if you know what the other person is worried about, what they are afraid of, what they dream about, what they are looking forward to. That life is in the family, on the street, in society, and not on television, reality shows, mass media. That there is a word empathy, which we have forgotten, and which we only remember from time to time. Gather around the family hearth, not around the TV, talk. Talk, but also listen. Be a 'hero of the family' first, not a 'hero of the nation'," stated the Nikšić Theater in a part of the text published in "Vijesti" after the premiere.
