The Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Montenegro has become a partner in the development of the international master's program "Conservation and Restoration Sciences - CORES", within the Ulysseus network of European universities. The program brings together six prestigious universities, and is coordinated by the University of Genoa.

In addition to UCG, the University of Bordeaux Montaigne (France), the University of Seville (Spain), the University of Côte d'Azur (France) and the University of Münster (Germany) are participating. The project is accredited by the European Commission through the Erasmus Mundus Design Measure. The main objective of the CORES program is to create an integrated, transnational and high-quality education for conservation professionals. The program will enable students to acquire multidisciplinary skills from scientific, technological and humanistic fields, preparing them for the preservation of cultural heritage and raising awareness of its importance.
