On the occasion of February 16, the Day of the Nikšić Theater, the institution has decided to give the audience two free plays from its own production. On Sunday, February 16, the audience will have the opportunity to see the play "The People's Representative", which was directed and adapted by Goran Bulajić, based on the text by Branislav Nušić.
This is a play that premiered at the end of September 2022 and has been performed about 25 times so far.
The play stars Stevan Vuković, Marija Đurić, Maša Božović, Nikola Vasiljević, Anja Drljević, Matija Memedović, Boban Čvorović, Milica Kekić, Pavle Bogojević, Lazar Đurđević, Velizar Kasalica and Nebojša Vulanović.
The second free play, "The Godfathers", will be performed on Wednesday, February 19. The play, directed by Božidar Đurović based on a text by Dušan Kovačević, premiered last year on Nikšić Theater Day, but also on the day when the first play in the city under Trebjes, "Slobodarka" by Đorđe Manojlović Prizrenac, was performed 140 years ago.
The play, which will also be performed on the stage of the Trebinje Cultural Center the day before, stars Žana Gardašević Bulatović, Hadži Nenad Maričić, Ana Franić, Nikola Vasiljević and Pavle Bogojević.
"The Nikšić Theater is celebrating its day, and you are our special guests," the theater said to its loyal audience.
Both performances at the Nikšić Theater start at 20 p.m.
