With Tihomir Stanić on the connection between painting and acting

On Monday, February 24th, in the concert hall of the music school "Dara Čokorilo" in Nikšić, the guest of the "Imaginarium" panel will be an actor Tihomir StanicThe conversation with him, scheduled for 19 p.m., on the topic of "Painting and Acting," will be led by the author of the project, art historian and program editor at the "Zahumlje" Public Institution, Kristina Radović.

Stanić graduated in acting from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 1983, in the class of professor Dejan Mijač. He has been a permanent member of the “Atelje 212” theater ensemble since 1987. He has played in more than 130 plays on almost all Belgrade theater stages, as well as in theaters in Novi Sad, Sombor, Subotica, Vršac, Banja Luka, Podgorica, Užice. He has performed more than 130 roles in film and TV, and in the drama programs of TV Novi Sad and TV Belgrade he has played a large number of significant figures from Serbian history and literature: Dositej Obradović, Savo Mrkalj, Jovan Sterija Popović, Branko Radičević, Miloš Crnjanski, Stevan Sremac, Ivo Andrić, King Aleksandar Obrenović, Borislav Pekić, Jovan Jovanović Zmaj...

He was the president of the Serbian Drama Artists' Association from 1998 to 2000 and the artistic director of the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka from 2005 to 2007. He is the founder of the production companies "Balkan film", "Drina film" and "Tihomir Stanić Production", within which he has been producing feature films, series and theatre plays since 2007.

He has been awarded for almost all the most significant theatrical roles he has played - at the Yugoslav Theatre Festival in Užice, Comedy Days in Jagodina, the "Petar Kočić" Theatre Festival in Banja Luka, the "Ljubiša Jovanović" Celebrations in Šabac, the One Actor Festival in Nikšić, the Fadil Hadžić Satire Days in Zagreb, the Classical Festival in Vršac, the Milivoj Živanović Days in Požarevac, Sterijino Pozorje in Novi Sad... He has collaborated with almost all significant theatre, film and TV directors in this region.
