The theater play "The Widow of a Living Man", produced by the Zvezdara Theater from Belgrade, will be performed today in the large hall of the Cultural Center in Tivat, at 20 p.m.
Premiere of this latest piece Dusan Kovačević, who also directed "The Living Man's Widow", was in Belgrade in October.
The play marked the 40th anniversary of the Zvezdara Theatre, and stars such as: Jelena Djokic, Nela Mihajlovic i Miodrag Miki Krstovic, and younger actors Suncica Milanovic, Andjelica Simic i Dusan Tomic.
"The story of this dark comedy is similar to almost all of my plays and films. The content is hidden in the title itself, "The Widow of a Living Man". Is that possible? Yes, if we bury someone while they are alive because they caused you great pain. And in order to watch such a heavy drama, elements of comedy are needed, like drinking bitter medicine coated in a sweet taste," says writer and director Kovačević.
She is the scenographer of the play Vladislava Munic Canington, costume designer Dragica Lausevic, the producer Dragisa Curguz.
