Writer from Nikšić Goran Radojicic is the winner of the "Golden Planjax Pen" award for the best story for children and young people, awarded by the publishing and printing house "Planjax" from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The silver award went to Selmi Parisi, a bronze To Dragica KrižanacThe competition, which is organized with the aim of affirming and popularizing literary creativity and reading among young people, received about a hundred authors, and the selector was Prof. Dr. Adijata Ibrišimović Šabić.
"An interesting fairy tale about children's adventures, the power of harmony, love and togetherness, set in a festive atmosphere, caused positive reactions from the selectors and it gives me pleasure to be the laureate of this award, which in more than ten years, since the competition has existed, has been received by some of the most important regional children's writers such as Šimo Ešić, Jovo Čulić, Ismet Bekrić...", Radojičić told "Vijesti".
"Planjax" will soon publish a book with the submitted works, which will be presented at the 36th International Book Fair in Sarajevo and the 37th International Literary Meetings "Spring with Planjax".
Radojičić is the president of the Literary Club "Poenta Poetika" operating at the Public Institution "Zahumlje", a member of the Association of Montenegrin Writers for Children and Youth, and the editor-in-chief of the children's magazine "Osmijeh". He writes poetry, prose, scientific papers, essays and literary criticism. He is the editor and proofreader of numerous editions of popular books of domestic and foreign production. He studies the period of Renaissance and Baroque Montenegrin literature, as well as the contemporary regional literary scene. In co-authorship with his wife Milica, he published a collection of poetry for children "Carousel Wonders", and they also implemented interactive workshops called "Childhood is the Most Beautiful Carousel Wonder".
