Concert by a multi-award winning accordion soloist Petra Balabana will be held as part of KIC's "Young Talents" cycle tomorrow, in the DODEST hall, at 19 p.m.

Petar Balaban was born in 2006 in Belgrade. After graduating from the "Savo Popović" Elementary Music School in Cetinje, he continued his education at the "Vasa Pavić" Art School for Music and Ballet in Podgorica, in the class of Miroslav Ilic.

As a soloist and chamber musician, he has won over forty first prizes at national and international competitions. He is a multiple laureate at national competitions and international festivals in Tivat, Pula, Sarajevo, Smederevo, Užice, etc. He is the winner of the World Cup and World Accordion Trophy in the junior category in 2024, thus continuing to confirm his constant progress and excellence.

He attended numerous master classes led by university professors and performers such as Fridrih Lips, Mirko Patarini, Frederic Deschamps, Vojin Vasović, Miljan Bjeletić, Predrag Janković, Georgi Koč i dr.

He performed at the "Beer Fest" festival in Cetinje, the "Young Talents" cycle at the KIC "Budo Tomović", the "Podgorica Cultural Summer" event, he also played in Chieti (Italy), the Music Center of Montenegro, the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Russian House in Belgrade, but also at a concert of the young scene of Montenegrin accordionists in Tivat.
