Monobajka “Last Name Rose”, by the author Oliver Balasevic will be performed at the Nikšić Theater on May 18th, at 20 pm.
As the announcement states, "The Last Name of the Rose" is an authentic confessional theater drama that takes the audience through the memories of the author of the book "Planet Yard".
"Through the eyes of a girl who grew up on the banks of the Begej River, the path of memory leads from a childhood full of love, but deprived of the privileges of her peers, to her student days in Novi Sad and love, poetry, and family. 'The Last Name of the Rose' is an emotional story about the most important values in life, about the time that awaits us to fill it with memories, about struggles and decisions that are not easy. And most of all about inevitabilities that are indifferent and inexorable to the fragility of childhood," the announcement reads.
It is an emotional confession by Olivera Balašević which, they say, will make the audience laugh, sadden and take them back to another time. The assistant director is Jelena Balasevic, and light design Branislav Agarski.
