The Music Center of Montenegro announced the ceremonial closing of the 2024/25 concert season with the premiere performance of one of the most important operas in the history of music - "Don Giovanni" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

An evening filled with powerful emotions, dramatic twists and inspired music will mark the premiere performance of Mozart's masterpiece that has fascinated audiences around the world for more than two centuries. On the Podgorica stage, Don Giovanni will come to life through contemporary directorial expression, while respecting the classical musical form and the deep psychological layers of the characters.

The maestro takes the baton Marko Korovic, known for its expressive interpretations and strong artistic vision. The direction and set design are by Aleksandar Nikolic, whose stage design brings a modern and dynamic setting to this classic opera.

The author team also consists of: Senka Ranosavljević – costume design, Federica Vincifori – choreography, Siniša Radulović – assistant set designer.

The soloists will be: Don Giovanni – Luka Jozic, Commander / Maseto – Felix Pacher, Dona Ana – Milica Lalosevic, Don Octavio – Sinisa Radin, Dona Elvira – Antonia Vučinović, Folio – Marko Trajkovski, Cerlina – Ena Topčibašić.

In the performance of the opera The Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra, the Montenegrin Ballet Ensemble and the Choir of the Academy of Music of the University of Montenegro participate.
