The play "Mr. Hunter", produced by the Pljevlja Cultural Center, was declared the best play at the Amateur Drama Festival, which ended in Bijelo Polje.
Second place was awarded to the Bijelo Polje Theatre's play "Sex, Lies and Wild Geese", while third prize went to the play "Thoughts in Silence" by Modesty MK Podgorica and the "Vojislav Bulatović Strunjo" Cultural Center.
The winning play "Mr. Hunter" was based on the play by George Fojd, adapted and directed by Jovana Jelovac.
Jelovac reiterated that they had a great responsibility and the task of investing even greater effort, which was what last year's award at that festival obliged them to do.
"We are overjoyed and satisfied, because it turned out to be exactly what I advocate, that every effort pays off eventually. We now know that every step and path that follows is certainly the most beautiful job and task that lies ahead of us. We will try to justify the audience's trust and this recognition," Jelovac emphasized.
In honor of the awardees, on the final evening of the FDA, the Bijelo Polje audience was able to enjoy the play "Memories of Sarah Bernhardt" by JUK "Herceg Fest" and the Herceg Novi Theater, adapted from the play by John Marel and directed by Staša Koprivica, starring Tanja Bošković and Dejan Đonović.
